I joined the Air Force as a Medical Administrative Assistant towards the tail end of the Vietnam Era. My knowledge and experience for these crafts spans the course of almost 6 decades. First starting from gifts to other, people mostly on family and then advance to my businesses today. I am self-taught in all the crafts I do and have done. I know how to do pretty much all handcrafted things…such as sewing, embroidery, count x-stitch just to name a few.
I was a licensed practical nurse and now retired so I am perfecting my knitting and crocheting skills. I am a mom of two and can appreciate the feeling of someone giving you a handcrafted knit or crochet gift. These types of gifts are treasured forever and even passed down to other family members. It’s a very personal experience and gifts are made with greater quality materials than a big box or online store. All of the handcrafted knits and crotched items we make are all made with love and attention to detail.
